Through no lack of trying over the last several years regarding options for cell and internet service in the community, BNA remains without secure phone or internet for its on-reserve members or businesses. The costs of a cell tower are prohibitive, as is the cost to bring in fiber optics. Therefore, the solution has been for residents to get boosters and “Starlink”. It is encouraged that all members get Starlink for an interim bridge until a long-term solution for high-speed internet can be figured out.

BNA understands that all Ontario residents will be provided with high-speed internet by 2025.
