BNA Trail Restoration

With funding from CORDA, BNA is proceeding with a large trail restoration project in the community. This involves the clearing of a trail corridor in the location of the old trail from the BNA cemetery to the top of Copper Thunderbird Lookout. BNA workers were hired to complete this clearing. Then, boardwalks were installed where necessary throughout the trail system. Lumber was purchased directly from the Papasay Sawmill to complete this work.

Long-term, it is the hope of the community to utilize its trail system as part of its cultural reclamation, and down the road for tourism opportunities.
